Manchester City Return to the Top of the Premier League Table
Sterling, Agüero, and Gündogan Lead City to a 6-0 Victory over Chelsea

Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League table in emphatic fashion on Sunday, thrashing Chelsea 6-0 at the Etihad Stadium. Sergio Agüero, Raheem Sterling, and Ilkay Gündogan were all on target for the rampant hosts.
Agüero opened the scoring in the 13th minute, capitalizing on a poor back-pass from Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. The Argentine striker doubled his tally from the penalty spot just six minutes later after Marcos Alonso was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the area.
Gündogan made it 3-0 in the 25th minute with a stunning 25-yard strike that flew into the top corner of the net. Sterling then added a fourth goal for City just before halftime, finishing off a swift counter-attack after being played in by Kevin De Bruyne.
Agüero completed his hat-trick in the 56th minute, pouncing on a rebound after his initial shot was saved by Arrizabalaga. Sterling then got his second goal of the game in the 80th minute, rounding off a superb performance for the Premier League champions.
The victory was Manchester City's sixth in a row in all competitions and extended their unbeaten run to 18 games. Chelsea, meanwhile, have now lost four of their last five Premier League matches and are now in danger of falling out of the top four.
Manchester City will be hoping to continue their winning ways when they travel to face Newport County in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday. Chelsea, meanwhile, will be aiming to bounce back when they host Huddersfield Town in the Premier League on Tuesday.
