Emergency Landing
On June 10, 1990, British Airways Flight 5390 took off from Birmingham Airport in England, bound for Malaga in Spain. During the flight, the cockpit window on the left side of the aircraft blew out, partially ejecting and injuring the captain. Despite the harrowing circumstances, the first officer managed to regain control of the plane and perform an emergency landing at Southampton Airport.
